Star Cannon is a flash game, as well as an iPhone/iTouch game. I stumbled across this game when I was looking for free (I know, I’m cheap) games using the App Store. If you haven’t seen it, or are curious to see a future possibility of our own game, then have a look at this.
The game is created by Jagex Games Studio, who are the guys who created games like Runescape, a popular online game.
God of War 3 – Poseidon Battle
An interesting view of the guys from Santa Monica Studio, who created the God of War games. In these series of videos, you watch as they create the fight against the first boss of the 3rd game, Poseidon, the god of horses and water.
More to do with a 3D platformer, I just thought that people might just want to watch one of the most interesting fights in the game, and possibly the most complex too.
Try modelling running water!
This is the basis of our game; a space shooter with upgradable weapons and hordes of enemies which swarm on you at moments notice. As the Raiden series does not have a particular website with readable information, the link above includes a playable 2D flash version, which is quite similar to the original.
At the moment, the game is ready to download from Xbox Live Arcade, for Raiden Fighters.
I spent many hours ‘researching’ this particular flash game, so I hope you enjoy it too.
